Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, it’s important for us to hear about what we’re doing well and where we need to improve. A 2 star review stinks, it’s unfortunate you walked away with a dim experience on your resume. I want to address two of the heavy sentiments you shared: our software and our vision. When it comes to our product, we’ve been clear and honest from the beginning. Möbius is a monolith, and we’ve been taking incremental steps to how we steer the ship to smoother seas. Back in 2019, we were deploying a release every 3 to 4 months. As of May 2024, we’re deploying a micro-release every two weeks! The present day momentum of our Product & Engineering team is remarkable compared to where we started, and it’s reinforcing our desire for Möbius to be a frictionless platform for our customers. You shared that you feel there’s a lack of vision for the company alongside disjointed teams. Oomph, I feel you on this one. Sometimes, we’re all running a bit too fast in our own lanes around here, we inadvertently tolerate disjointed work dynamics. Knowing this, we allocated our Company Goals last year to focus on Alignment & Teamwork Across Teams and Clarity of Company Direction, Vision & Purpose. These areas require constant communication and reinforcement. They are significant elements of the cultural experience. If people aren’t connected to the vision of what we’re doing, work starts to feel meaningless and relationships languish. Your note nudges me to stay focused on this, we’ll keep at it.
