Vantaggi
Ability to work fully from home with software downloaded to a PC computer. Company does all the credentialing for you and takes care of malpractice insurance. Provides adequate training (though time spent training is unpaid) and company let's you pick your own schedule. Tech team and support staff is always quickly available when issues come up. Remote technicians mostly do a very good job refracting.
Svantaggi
Scheduling is erratic and need to acquire multiple licenses in order to have a consistent schedule. Patient load can be very heavy at times and the more licenses you have the more patients you'll end up seeing. The pay is below average and you are classified as an independent contractor meaning less net pay after you subtract the taxes you'll owe an need to pay on your own. Also if you don't own a PC (or if you do and the specs aren't compatible with the company's software) you'll have to purchase that on your own. Many of the local technicians responsible for pre-testing and scheduling the patient leave a lot to be desired.
