Vantaggi
It used to be an ok average company to work in, colleagues are nice, but turnover is huge, its an ok place to start your profesional career: If you are interested in a new career path, they will hire you for the role, because people with experience wouldn’t accept the low salaries that Ding offers. Good opportunity to work if you live in Bangladesh!: Almost all Executive, Engineers and Specialist employees are hired in Bangladesh now, every 6 months they fire groups of people from Europe saying they don’t fit the strategy anymore, and after they hire the same roles for the Dhaka office in Bangladesh paying them a local salary, and I would like to highlight it again “local Bangladesh salary”. You don’t need to believe, just go to the careers page of the company, and you will see it (they feel so ashamed about it, that when the role is for Bangladesh, they don’t specify it on the title, and you need to click in the proper offer to check it).
Svantaggi
The company is in a downward spiral, its sad for me to say this, as I worked there for more than 5 years and I feel emotionally connected with the company, but being honest I couldn’t recommend anybody to work here, unless really specific situations: If you are desperate for an income because you are unemployed, I guess a low salary is better than no salary, or if you want to start in a new career path, I suppose is ok for a first approach, but you will leave as soon as you get a little bit of experience. The turnover in the company is extremely high due to the poor conditions. Since the company was sold to an investment fund, working in Ding has become a terrible challenge everyday, it used to be a Vanilla company, but now its way worse. The lack of leadership management is terrible, there are now 3 CEOs (3 men of course, that’s a classic glass ceiling at Ding for C level) and they swift the strategy 180 degrees every 6 months. Once they realised the new strategy doesn’t work, they just change again, all the work done gets dismissed, and the circle starts again. I won’t even talk about fake reviews in Glassdoor, I think if you are reading this, you are smart enough to have a look yourself, and realised which ones were typed by the HR team. Also, the company was called Ezetop before was rebranded to Ding, I would suggest you to have a look at Ezetop reviews here in Glassdoor, you will see the company was never a “great place to work" as some suspicious reviews says).
