Having spent time at both large corporate companies and now having been at Distil for some time I can say confidently that there are some great things to consider for being a part of the Distil team. I first want to start with Trust. At Distil, we trust that when we hire talent that they will be driven and have the tenacity to drive innovation and progress with the respective projects. Since I have been at Distil I have never felt like the company does not trust my work ethic and does not see the value of why I am here. Something that really made a positive impact and is worth sharing is the consideration and thoughtful approach to parental leave. I recently took some time off for parental leave and the way it was handled was top notch. Not only was it messaged multiple times to take the time needed and not worry about work but I also received a personal note at home while I was out on leave from the company welcoming our new addition. Something small but overlooked by a lot of companies. Amazing Product that solves an important problem. A Highly Talented Team

Not many cons from my experience. There are some areas for opportunity around continued skill development, feedback loop, and professional growth within the company.

A great place to work!!!! - and very generous place and high intelligence. And will recommend very highly. Some have been very critical of the CxOs - and I have lived with 3 start-ups era - this management albeit young and not that seasoned - are very rational, committed, and do care for employees - who keep their end of the bargains. There are/were some errors ( yes at the glass half empty ) - growing pain e.g. lack of shaper Product & Product Marketing ( cannot sustain on PR alone ) that may have led to inert Sales Team - but these are all manageable - and not structural issues. The technology stack to mitigate Bots/API Endpoints - is a very solid one!!!!!!!

None except one ( later ) I think there have been some labour reductions - I see that as corrections as it was bloated in some areas; the CEO has changed role - I see that as an executive fatigue needs some deserved rest and recalibrate The Con: Yes - the HR needs to grow up - not by the responses I am seeing on the Glassdoor - simply just to be more pleasant please - and that will do wonders amongst you ( past and present employees ) and that may not be a difficult task indeed - right?
