The owner's unwillingness to follow the best and most effective ways of doing things in the industry made us feel overwhelmed and unprepared to compete with other businesses. It seemed like the restaurant was in the past while others were doing well by trying new and creative approaches. This resistance to change not only made it hard for us to hire talented people but also led to a drop-in sales and a negative reputation. It was really disheartening to see the missed chances for growth and improvement as we struggled to keep up with the changing demands of the industry.
