There's also a strong focus on professional development with development content accessible to all and career stories shared giving advice and insight into opportunities. Regular and meaningful conversations with managers about your performance career path are standard practice, and it's clear the company is willing to invest in its employees. In customer ops they've recently organised valuable development opportunities, like bringing in an external speaker to present, which was genuinely inspiring. It's also impressive how much employee feedback is valued. They use engagement surveys and informal coffee chats with senior leadership and exit chats when people are leaving to listen to what people think. Crucially, this isn't just for show; you see suggestions being taken on board and acted upon. The Bristol office is fantastic—a sleek, modern space that’s been thoughtfully designed with facilities for everyone, like quiet zones, a prayer room and customer zone. The regular office perks are a nice touch that adds to the positive atmosphere. A great example of investment in people was the recent Ops Leadership offsite day, which brought team members together from all offices for strategic planning and team building. It really reinforces the feeling that people are valued here. While no workplace is perfect, it's a genuinely great place to be, and things feel like they're only getting better.

Like any fast-growing company, the pace can be rapid, and priorities have sometimes shifted. However, there's a clear recognition of this from the leadership team, who are now placing a stronger emphasis on clear prioritisation. While there have been times when Customer Ops could be more integrated into wider business changes, there's a definite effort being made to improve communication between departments. And regarding the move to more in-office working, while it's been a topic of discussion, I've personally found it helps build stronger team relationships and improves collaboration.
