Most women in merchandising do not have children, majority of the merchants are older, there is a lack of appetite for change. Tenured associates should not automatically qualify you for promotion, promote for skill. Company just introduced maternity leave (6 weeks) in 2019 and we’re very proud of themselves. Not a good place for a millennial to work with how many other options there are out there. Typically if you are in a category, you will die in that category. Zero movement.
