      There is a corporate emphasis on safety.

      Svantaggi

      Paper is a dying industry in America due to electronic devices, but Domtar is making an effort to extend it's reach into other aspects of industry. One down side is that problems are ignored until they reach a critical point. Also the environment is very dusty.

      Close knit excellent maintenance teams that seem to do the impossible with the amount of understaffing over the years. Couldn't ask for a better place or people to work with. I have loved my time at this mill. Domtar has no idea at the quality of the institution\people that they are casting off into the abyss.

      The corporation as a whole I am not a fan of. It seems they acquired Resolute FP to strategically dismantle it. They have closed several of the RFP mills and Coosa Pines an absolute institution that has been the backbone of the community for over 75 years is the next on the chopping block in May 2026.
