      Medical when I was there covered me and my domestic partner, and still covered both of us the same when married. Also included was life insurance for both of us.

      It takes some doing with people at the local plant to get paperwork straight, as headquarters is in Canada, and I was working in Southern California. Never did get marital status straight in the end.

      Close knit excellent maintenance teams that seem to do the impossible with the amount of understaffing over the years. Couldn't ask for a better place or people to work with. I have loved my time at this mill. Domtar has no idea at the quality of the institution\people that they are casting off into the abyss.

      The corporation as a whole I am not a fan of. It seems they acquired Resolute FP to strategically dismantle it. They have closed several of the RFP mills and Coosa Pines an absolute institution that has been the backbone of the community for over 75 years is the next on the chopping block in May 2026.
