The work is easy and the pay is good for the work. Benefits are reasonably good, but getting worse. Most people work less than 9-5 and even month end is not too busy for most people.

The pay is bad for an accountant and two weeks starting vacation is tough. There is little room for growth and the office is not much fun. Managers don't even bother to say hi to you in the halls, much less take time to manage.

Close knit excellent maintenance teams that seem to do the impossible with the amount of understaffing over the years. Couldn't ask for a better place or people to work with. I have loved my time at this mill. Domtar has no idea at the quality of the institution\people that they are casting off into the abyss.

The corporation as a whole I am not a fan of. It seems they acquired Resolute FP to strategically dismantle it. They have closed several of the RFP mills and Coosa Pines an absolute institution that has been the backbone of the community for over 75 years is the next on the chopping block in May 2026.
