No direction. No vision. No management. No product. In 2016 alone the company laid off 4 entire teams, often within a few months of making mass hires to those teams. They frequently hire people without any idea of what their job will look like or how to support it. There is no management and no direction, so each person's workflow is completely different and their work product is unique, preventing any process from being implemented. In the same year, the company has pivoted multiple times and is very unclear about what they do or sell. In 2016 it has been a facebook publisher, a medium publisher, an advertising agency, a software company, and most recently a TV show. The culture is toxic with a lot of cliques, internal conflict, and finger pointing.
