Customers suck. Pay not great

Nice atmosphere, but thats about it from an employee viewpoint.

The owners are clueless. Just another example of some guys with money who woke up and said, "I think I'll buy a restaurant today!!" without thinking it through or knowing how to keep it going. The location I worked at CLOSED only 4 MONTHS AFTER OPENING!!! We got zero warning, only an email message!! I have bills to pay and left another job to work here. They didnt advertise so most people in the area have never heard of its existance. Who does that? Pour does. They did NOT care about employees outside of the store level. Expect to pay 100% of any insurance. While 99.9% of restaurants or employers in general cover some portion of insurance premiums, pour covers NONE of it. So you will be paying the entire thing. And its expensive!! This is because the owners are cheap, cheap, cheap, cheap, cheap. They want to pay bare minimum, not cover any employer portion of insurance, not advertise, but make tons of money - you know, like the other nonexperienced restaurant owners who last less than 3 years before failing. We in the business all know the type.
