I was hired in April to work two weeks in July that left me unable to really find another job for the summer months before going back to school in August. I completed all of the training the required which included almost three-four hours of videos, on-site training that had a lot of stop and wait for technology to be fixed, and then two one hour webinars that were late at night. All of this had to be completed before our scheduled camp weeks. Four days before camp was to start, the office called after normal working hours to say both weeks were cancelled. Maybe two days later I was removed from every platform used for communication between employees and the office. I am still waiting for a compensation check for completing all of the training as required by the company and had been “cut and mailed” almost two weeks ago.
