The company is full of young talent with lots of experience in the car leasing/financing industry. You’ll get to work on something new each day if you are proactive and willing to accept you don’t know everything. I made some fantastic friends out of my colleagues at Drover and it rendered going to work a pleasure. The amount of mentorship I received was the highlight of my time at Drover!

The company moves fast and the by-product of that approach is that sometimes things break (which by the way is totally normal for a hyper growth startup in an old space). One day a project you are working on could be priority #1 and the next day it could be scrapped. Sometimes this is bad luck but it can also be due to a combination of unchecked enthusiasm and missing due diligence. Average communication on product roadmaps. I worked on and presented a new process that utilized a system which I was later told would be phased out, and greater transparency here would have saved time and resources. Room for improvement re: socials/morale boosting activities. A ping pong table tucked away in the corner of the office sat unused for the entirety of my time with Drover. People can work hard but also have time play!
