Ultimately, you are under the hand of management no matter what. Anyone without a VP or Officer title is puppet-ed by upper level management and "told" what to do. At face, Duncan Solutions seems to offer many great benefits and advancement opportunities, but the selection processes for different positions are quite unfair and riddled with the opinions of management. If you were not well liked, you were not going to be selected for an advancement opportunity, even if you were a top performer. Employees are beyond over-worked and under-appreciated and compensated. Behind the scenes, management and processes were inconsistent, unfair - just a complete mess. The only time the "policies" of Duncan miraculously appear is when someone does something wrong, in order to discipline or terminate. This company needs to get their act together at a higher-level perspective and stop placing blame on the workers who are dedicated and bright (and confused, due to the lack of structure and management). Upper level management is extremely difficult to work with. Their attitudes are condescending and belittling and clearly show no compassion for the employees. This company does nothing but drive their employees out the door the minute they get there. ANY ONE can do better than this company.
