Not a nice environment - Recensione dipendente - Retail Sales Assistant presso Dunelm

Very uncomfortable place to work. Rude staff and management. Most employees have been there 10+ years and are very friendly with each other including the area manager and some staff work with family members. New staff get bullied and pushed around by other staff members and even team leaders and management. When issues are raised with a duty manager it’s just shrugged off. When you tell them about taking it to area manager it’s just always “they won’t have a bad word said about (employee)” you are made to feel like it’s normal to be treated that way and that no one will listen. Even the “people person” doesn’t help when they are supposed to.
