Very strict, top down managment.

Will train inexperienced individuals who want to get into firefighting or try something new. Company had a great safety record and I was never worried about my own personal safety.

Stiff culture and sense of personal judgment from the management sometimes made it feel like I was at a religious summer camp. There was some drama in my crew with multiple squad leaders who were vocally unhappy with the inexperienced crew leader, which led to low morale.
