Customer where amazing. The people I got to serve made my day as much as I tried to make theirs. I grew close with a few and started to get to know more before I was let go. Honestly, such a rewarding experience.
Svantaggi
The biggest con for me was my co-workers. 2 out of the 10 or so were really genuine and kind, however the rest just wouldn't accept me as part of the family. I'm not into smoking weed, drinking alcohol, and partying. That's not me, and I figured that wouldn't matter, I figured Dutch Bros is about diversity but I was wrong. Tension grew within the stand no matter how hard I tried to become apart of the team and eventually I was let go because I didn't "mesh" with the team. No warnings, no opportunity to transfer, nothing. For a high schooler this might not be too terrible, but I'm a self sufficient college student paying all my bills and this take a huge blow to my life. I honestly love and value this company and it breaks my heart that I only got to spend 4 months with them until they blew me off. I even begged for a second change somewhere else, but no go. Like others have stated you don't take designated breaks, but you don't really notice as there will often be gaps between service where you have some time to clean or relax. You work less than 30 hours, but unless you're trying to make a living off this job that's not too bad. Like I said, i'm a college student double majoring in two areas. Training is a month or so, you don't make tips then but you do get paid. But training is also fun and you learn a lot (this jobs not as easy as it looks from the drivers seat.) I personally took many hits from my coworkers verbally. I was called gay, I had a co-worker make sexual jabs at my girlfriend, and I received a lot of stink eyes. I honestly wish I knew what I had done wrong. BUT if you decide to pursue a job with this company you might have the time of your life! It all depends.
