This is a great environment for someone with little, to no tech experience.h If you are looking for a company that VALUES you and will invest in your skill set - LOOK ELSEWHERE. E2Open managers play corporate politics, and overwork their team! Promotions and growth opportunities are made available to employees who keep their mouth shut and kiss up to upper management. I have never worked for a company that refuses to invest in their team, and software they sell. They continue to push unrealistic expectations and WILL TRY to FORCE you to meet them. Higher ups do not care about your work/life balance - especially your direct managers. Please don’t come to this company if you want to improve your skill set or work on challenging technical problems, the ONLY challenge is — how much workload can you complete day in and day out. Managers only look at metrics to determine productivity, which lacks context. Also, stop asking your employees to “own” everything - what is the point of having a manager … if you do not help intervene problems? MICROMANAGE E2Open has no SLA and they let their customers run over the team. The client who complains the most, is who gets priority! This results in other customers being neglected, and you being worked 12+ hours - because management doesn’t stand up for their team. A simple discussion, and standard of expectations should be conveyed to your clients BEFORE selling them a broken product. The product itself is terrible, and nothing inside of the product is consistent. E2Open makes a concerned effort to customize tedious features inside of the product based on client needs. There is a terrible on boarding process - with lackluster training! The majority of the people who are “experts” have been with the company for 10+ years. The only way to gain knowledge of the platform is through experience - which is not passed down to new hires. Management will try to make tech employees create articles to solve problems, instead of investing into onboarding and training! They try to do more with less. Clients will continue to be unhappy until you set a standard and very clearly communicate the expectations. Your employees aren’t as happy as you think they are - they just tolerate you because we are in a middle of a pandemic. E2Open/ AR offer unlimited PTO, because they know you will need time off because they overwork employees. People have families they need to raise, children to raise, and other matters to attend to outside of work! Stop micromanaging and ASSIST YOUR TEAM! Stop asking employees to go above and beyond while you do nothing but sit behind a desktop and watch metrics and Microsoft Teams statuses. All of the points mentioned is why you can’t retain good employees, you have high turnover, low team morale, and no room to grow as a company!
