It is a flat work environment with no bureaucracy. Hard work in Banking is what matters - it is not about "who" you know. What is valued is your ideas and ability to innovate that is valued most.

Promotions are really fast like every 1 year or so from analyst to associate to principal and so forth. Sometimes too fast promotion isn't necessarily good in Banking.

- Work is repetitive once you understand it and lacks challenges, which means many works are highly AI replaceable
- The quality of mid-management really varies, Some talented mid senior people are quiet while mediocre take the place.
- Reacts slow to market and some red tapes
- Not a resourceful bank in terms of reputation and benefits
