The pay was really good, the best I’ve had for a tutor at 25 an hour.
As someone working for somebody else, that’s about the best you can expect even if you only really are getting a portion of the pay.
They helped me get experience and I realized I enjoyed being a tutor and went on to tutor at different places after, none of which payed as well.
The interview was easy, I came prepared and contributed and I think they appreciated that. It was a group interview and the girl with me never contributed.
Scheduling was flexible, you accepted the students that fit into your schedule based on what you could teach.
The students were great, overall really well behaved kids and if you enjoy being around kids, being a one on one tutor is great.
Being on time is really important as the students get there a certain time, so watch out for that.

They told me I could stay on in the summer but when the summer came they had no students- I was left scrambling to find another job because I had already made plans to stay at the school for the summer which was out of state from my home. I didn’t appreciate that, looking back it makes sense, students aren’t in school in the summer, but I wish they had just told me not to bet on it.
