You must watch the trends of this company. All of upper management from finance to daily tracking, technical support, operations, from coast to coast have either left or been fired. The owner seems to look for young talent that he can mold then once he is challenged with his views he forces them to resign or just fires them. If you have several people that may report to you or just have good relationship with your coworkers, he will have company wide meeting to discuss your departure and the terms of your agreement. He has done this to several people. It is done in an open forum. This is his attempt to not look bad. There is no longevity.
