Firstly- EG made an agreement with SDA to give none salaried employees penalty rates after midday and 6pm which is great but it meant most of the time the team members EARNED MORE THAN THE ASM. I beg any ASM who is currently working to talk to a union & seek your rights because when I worked it out, if I did the same exact hours as a team member instead of a ASM I would have EARNED MORE AS A TEAM MEMBER but team members should be aware that upper management is now pushing for team members to start before midday and work 9-10 hour shifts because it works out cheaper than having them work a normal 8 hours afternoon shift- yes, they want you to now work longer hours for less money so you don’t receive the higher rate. A billion dollar company who doesn’t mind slaving their team members and management to save money. Absolutely soul less. Bullying was directly reported to the anonymous line but surprise when upper management received the complaint their did nothing about it. Was awful seeing how stuff members were treated by their peers.if you want to get into fuel go to any other company. A car crashed into the building while an elder staff member with PTSD was in, she wanted to seek medical care because she was in shock & upper management told her she wasn’t allowed- she wasn’t even allowed to go home for the remainder of her shift, why? Because upper management gets bonuses based on ‘no time lost’ on injuries. Work life balance is awful because no one stops calling your even when you’re home about work.
