      Completely ethical company. The people are taught to treat the customers like gold. The employees work hard to live up to the reputation the company has created. It's energizing to be part of a group of people that care so much about what they do and the impact they make on people's lives.

      The work is hard. I've worked for other security companies that don't have as strong a focus on the customer and customer complaints didn't matter as much as they do at EMC Security. There is a lot of scrutiny on team members that receive poor marks from customers. It takes some getting used to, but ultimately, it makes us better.

      First place I’ve ever worked where everyone is sweet and kind. Even the CEO. Set boundaries early or you will have a lot on your plate.

      Not a lot of communication between departments. It’s more annoying than a serious problem. Set boundaries early or you will have a lot on your plate.

      Generally, a nice place to work. The company tries to provide a pleasant atmosphere; coffee/tea available all the time, gym to work out in, occasional company lunches.

      Not enough technicians available for the work load. Instead of focusing on customer service, and providing the best to their existing customers, they are constantly trying to recruit new customers. I guess they don't understand that people are loyal, and if you give them good service, they will stay with the company. Instead, they are worried about getting new "deals", rather than what made their company different from other alarm companies.
