Toxic and disrespectful leadership - Recensione dipendente - Controller presso EMED Group

Working at EMED Group control room is toxic and dysfunctional. The atmosphere is hostile, with constant gossip, backstabbing, and lies being spread especially between the two groups of controllers. There’s zero trust, and instead of collaboration, it feels like a daily battle of manipulation and finger-pointing. Management only makes things worse. They shout, swear, and behave more like angry children than professionals. Instead of leading by example, they throw tantrums and micromanage. There’s no space for mutual respect or healthy communication just intimidation and control. It’s like dealing with children in positions of authority. Completely unprofessional and unfit to lead. Even when controllers try to make the workplace better, raise concerns, or offer constructive suggestions, it’s like talking to a brick wall. Feedback is ignored, dismissed, or twisted. It feels like no one in leadership actually wants to listen, let alone change anything. Worse still, you’re constantly being watched both by managers and by fellow staff who seem ready to weaponize anything you say or do. People take mental notes not to help, but to use against you. It’s draining, isolating, and emotionally exhausting. The morale is low, and understandably the job is stressful but it would be manageable if the leadership team weren't so bad. Unless there’s a complete overhaul in leadership and culture, I wouldn’t recommend this job to anyone.
