I joined ERA Singapore with high hopes, excited to be a part of a reputed real estate agency. However, my time there turned out to be a huge disappointment. The promises made during the hiring process were far from the reality of the work environment. The management at ERA Singapore seems to have no regard for their employees' well-being. Long working hours are not only expected but practically forced upon you. The work-life balance is non-existent, and it's evident that the company prioritizes profits over its employees' mental and physical health. The lack of proper training and guidance was astounding. I was left to figure things out on my own, which hindered my performance. The communication within the organization is abysmal. Important information was often shared as an afterthought, leaving me feeling out of the loop and frustrated. The office culture is toxic and competitive. Instead of fostering a collaborative environment, the approach is strictly top-down and encourages yes men. This creates a hostile work environment where trust is practically non-existent. In conclusion, my experience at ERA Singapore was nothing short of demoralizing. The management's disregard for work-life balance, the lack of proper training, toxic office culture, and absence of career growth opportunities make it a place I would strongly advise against joining. It's unfortunate that a company with such potential falls so short in delivering a positive and enriching work environment for its employees.
