I worked at ES full-time from early 2011 to mid 2013 - Started out as assisting the CEO and slowly moved my way up to Operations Manager within a year and a half! Working directly under the CEO provided me with endless opportunities to be hands-on with the day-to-day life at the agency. Learned the ins and outs, ups and downs, of the industry! CEO/Execs got invited to a lot of high-profile events and they usually extended the invitation to the staff as well - I was able to attend a lot of them, which was awesome for networking! Worked with an amazing and talented group of people and just had a blast overall. Upper/executive management was approachable and had an open door policy - they were always happy to help. Agency promoted team events and outings (trust me, they're crazy fun!!!). And employee birthdays were always celebrated no matter how busy it was because it's really the little/simple things that count. Pay (and company perks) were very competitive within the industry. Unfortunately my stay at ES had to be cut short due to relocation for personal matters, but the team, especially the CEO, was very supportive of my decision even though we had a great working relationship. Was sad to see myself go but I still maintain a good relationship w/ the CEO and staff to this day!

Due to the nature of the work, client deadlines were sometimes impossible to meet! There were definitely long hours at times, but the agency really valued work/life balance so everyone tried their best to turn things around quickly. I guess another "negative" thing would be.... sometimes we had agency happy hours/dinners that got a bit too crazy and it'd be impossible to wake up and go to work the next day lol!
