Risposta di EST Companies
6yWe always wish to hear from a former or present employee and wish to clarify any misconceptions. Our goal is for every employee to feel positive about their role at EST Companies. One of our corporate values is that we treat others as we wish to be treated.
When this particular employee was released it was a lay-off due to lack of work in that region, not a firing, there is a big difference. Northern California nearly shut down and a shelter in place order was in effect; our customers were shut down. The layoff had nothing to do with United States Air Force Reserve duty, in fact we greatly respect the veterans we employ and do not and would not take action against any of them that would have this reserve duty. Unfortunately, this layoff happened almost concurrently, again it was nothing we had any control over. Tens of millions of people have lost their jobs as a result of the current situation and we feel for all of them but, we had no control over Covid-19.
As far as pay differences; for the same work; there are many items that factor into an individual’s base salary; this includes varying levels of experience, skill sets, job performance, training, industry experience, and tenure.
Correctly stated is the fact that our employees do get to meet a lot of very good people; our customers and our employees are people that care much about quality of service from both sides and we set the bar high. We are a company that focus’ on service to all customers. Who are our customers? Anyone that contributes to the company, employees, vendors, bankers, our paying customers and anyone that impacts our operations.
We are sorry you have taken your stated perspective; we do wish you the best in your future endeavors. Stay safe, stay strong we will get through this together.
