The benefits were the reason I stayed as long as I did. I was more than happy to commit long-term to the company that invested in my education, despite a comparatively low salary, and few meaningful bonuses/ raises.

It used to be a people-first organization, however, since induction of new leadership a few years ago, it has transformed into a bottom-line first company and suffered significant layoffs. Most of the managers do the best jobs they can, however, there is constant change and ambiguity. Most team members no longer focus or grow in one area, but are spread across teams and tasks much more thinly.
