As an outside sales rep/consultant coming in, I learned how to deal with customers over the phone and build accounts from scratch from an inside role perspective. In addition, how to business develop existing accounts to build my book of business. I got the experience to deal with big name manufacturers across the US and negotiate from the engineering level all the way up to the executive level. In a years time during the peak of Covid, I got a nice salary increase based on performance and in my final year I made the most money with commision as an added bonus. Very laid back environment as long as your putting in the work with a Hybrid schedule. Adequate training to get you started with plenty of support. Allowed to take control of your book of business. More than enough PTO and paid holidays. I made some good friends here and sad to leave. Everyone here is approachable and willing to help.
