We note you suffered from a managerial behaviour. Indeed, EURA NOVA works as an adhocracy, privileging role and responsibilities to titles and authority. The executives own the ultimate responsibility in term of alignment with the whole company intakes. We will work on the perception of this point, as it is needed, and should not be perceived as authority.
The vision is dedicated to the development of competitive advantages for incumbent companies who are not data/software specialists. This helps the majority of EURA NOVA employees, but can be too short for others. We improve ourself using all the feedback we receive.
We help our employee being in the driving seat of their own career, and participating to a company going beyond their own personal interest. We are sorry to hear we met together some showstoppers on this path. You are absolutely right, it is by investing in people, and having people invested in the company that we’ll achieve our mission. We don’t necessarily believe it relies in the salary, that’s why it’s true, our salary are in the average despite our niche (and valuable) business context. We favor the value of the projects we offer, and the investments made possible in research.
All the directions we take are choices made at a certain time, with a certain context. We believe it’s wise to evaluate at each step if moving forward is still relevant and useful for the system. We understand the frustration of people when we decide to stop to invest in a direction, even more if they don’t understand all the reason of this stop. We’ll put a focus on explaining that better, and giving a clearer feedback on the responsibilities in those contexts.
