Risposta di EURA NOVA
7yThank you for the feedback.
We fully agree on the question of freedom : this is one of the hardest way to work, as people must decide and act relying on their own feeling and knowledge, challenged by their peers and aligned with the company they work in. This is a very complex task not everyone is able to do.
An entrepreneurial mindset requires to make choices of investment : we invest in research, and in the best ideas that could become a product. It can be very hard to accept the feedback when your idea is not selected, or even criticised. We understand the frustration. Some opportunities are not missed, they are not taken by EURA NOVA as a choice, or as a constraint (EURA NOVA is not a start up, but still a small company).
It is right to state we have a lack of process, leading to some inefficiencies sometimes. We believe It is a price to pay to build the particular model of EURA NOVA, dedicated to the funding of research and product development by a linked commercial activity. We are now trying to put in place some "call to action" to help people act when they feel lost in the system, as an alternative to processes.
It is true to say we have few industry experience, and we leverage this by learning and working with our clients (who are expert in their business) in order to combine our advanced technical knowledge with their disruptive ideas in their industry.
We are sorry to hear you felt personally mistreated, and we acknowledge your bad feeling as being a female at EURA NOVA. This topic is addressed since 2016 in various ways, you can still help us improving by sending an (anonymous or not) email to wellbeing@euranova.eu, describing your personal experience with more details. The right barrier between personal and professional improvement can be difficult to handle, and you are right, this should never go too far.
It's true EURA NOVA earns the majority of revenues through project deliveries and consultancy missions, but it's only a third of the model, beside the research in computer science (research.euranova.eu) and the product development (digazu), making it particular and sometimes hard to work with.
A little note : The documents produced in the scope of your work at EURA NOVA is legally a property of EURA NOVA. The recommendation you make sounds illegal.
