Racist and lack of support in a work environment - Recensione dipendente - Social Worker presso Eastern Health

I have never worked at a more toxic and racist place in my life. They say they value Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employees but they in fact do not. I had incredibly racist remarks made about me, as well as comments about my weight and physical impairment. The management were not supportive as they were best friends with the person who was behind the racism. I went to HR about it and they also couldn’t care less and broke confidentiality by speaking with my manager who I asked for them not to speak with. I have never been more depressed and anxious working with a team of older colleagues who treated younger staff as if we were beneath them and had no experience in our work.
