Strong team, solid engineering culture and fun group of folks to work with. The stack that is being used is very modern (Apache Strom/Kafka/Redis/HIVE) and the team environment is very collaborative. There is no lack of challenging technical problems to solve so if personal growth is important, EcoFactor is a good fit. Most people enjoy the work hard play hard environment at Ecofactor. The energy problem they reworking on open ended and very challenging. I enjoy the fact that we are making a positive difference to the world by saving wasted energy one home at a time.

Commute to redwood city can be a pain if you are driving from the east bay. Caltrain access is convenient though if you can take the train the work and the work-hours are flexible so you can avoid rush hour.
