I was hired during the pandemic and appreciate how challenging it is to onboard and learn about the Edelman ways of working quickly in a remote environment. I firmly believe the HR practices of KPIs and path to progression here is a smoke screen. For a Communications agency, there is a complete lack of transparency about leadership changes and company performance and how this impacts employees. How can this build loyalty and trust among staff? And this is a company that prides itself on being experts on trust!
