The management is easy to approach with problems or concerns New graduates are in demand at this company and they will work with people who have no previous experience in the field. Atmosphere is very relaxed, with a casual dress code. I literally wear jeans and a t-shirt every day. Promotion is almost exclusively from within. Upward career movement is encouraged, even if it is not within the company. Former employees have moved on to some pretty awesome careers, including one who now works for Google. Low stress environment. While you are expected to complete your work in a timely manner, you are not expected to rush or be super fast. Quality work done right the first time is expected, and management understands that is not something that can be rushed. This company encourages education. I go through tutorials and programming challenges when I have downtime. It doesn't seem like much, but not having to do 'busy work' when it's slow is very important. Bret and Rick are AMAZING managers! Their department is run well, and they are very easy to work for. They don't expect their team to do all the work, they both do their fair share. Jason, the owner, is not around a whole lot. He owns another business that takes up most of his time. But he is a great guy, and again, very easy to work with. The vacation and PTO time is extremely generous. Work/Life balance is great! Flexible work schedule, depending on who your manager is. Some are more flexible than others. Free healthy snacks are provided in the break room.

Low pay, although this is because there are no hard deadlines, and almost zero stress. Medical benefits aren't awesome, but nowadays that is not uncommon. The roof of the building leaks really bad when it rains.
