Svantaggi

During my time working here, I found the workplace environment to be extremely unstable and poorly managed. There is a constant revolving door of employees, and it is widely known that staff are often let go just days before their probation period ends. Management tends to operate very closely with each other while remaining largely unavailable to staff. The owner and regional director are rarely in the office, and the program director frequently arrives late, leaves early, or takes half days. Training was also inadequate; employees are expected to watch generic training videos created by outside sources and then complete company templates and documentation without proper guidance or explanation. Within my first three months alone, two employees were terminated within the first two weeks, and another new hire quit within a week of starting. Two weeks into my own position, while I was still learning the role, the CRF supervisor was let go and their entire workload was placed on me. Instead of the program coordinator taking on those additional responsibilities, I was expected to manage both roles while still being new and without any additional compensation. My role was originally meant to be primarily office-based, but because of the sudden staffing shortage, I was also required to work in the community with individuals, which significantly increased my workload and made it very difficult to complete the tasks associated with the position I was hired for. The office culture itself felt very restrictive unless you were part of management. At one point, a coworker privately told me that my personality was “too much” and that I should tone it down or risk being fired. There were also concerns regarding professionalism in the workplace; for example, the program coordinator would allow her husband to come into the office and work on his own personal matters while staff were making calls and discussing sensitive information with individuals and government agencies. At the time I left, the organization consisted mainly of management, a small handful of front-line staff, and a couple of employees who were each managing the workload of two people. Overall, I would not recommend this workplace to anyone considering a front-line or community support role. The expectations are extremely high, support and training are minimal, and employees may face disciplinary action or termination over very minor issues.

Vantaggi

Monday-Friday with office closed on weekends

Svantaggi

Everything else. Extremely poor leadership that thinks they are better than everyone else. This comes out in the way they treat both office and front line staff.
