Svantaggi
This is a software company owned by venture capital American company Community Brands. - Absolutely no career progression whatsoever, there is nothing to aspire to and you can't develop your professional skills further. - Toxic, unhappy work environment with empty desks scattered across the office. - Ridiculously High Staff Turnover. (150+ staff in 2017. Less then 70 in 2018) - Minimum wage Base Salary with false promises on increases/reviews. - Low, Capped Commission structure with extremely long payout times. - Community Brands have bought out competitor companies but employees are still expected to compete with them. (Capitalising on the educational software market) - Inconsistent branding and company image. The company is called Eduspot, the building is called SchoolPod, customers know the company as Teachers2Parents and it’s owned by Community Brands. - Blatantly Stolen company name and image from another company (Eduspotty) - Employees are not valued whatsoever, they are viewed as mere numbers and management has no trust in them. - Downright illegal business practices. - Zero Communication across the entire company, everything is run behind closed door meetings. - Hired a hatchet-man to make ridiculous changes and treat staff poorly that they leave off their own accord, shrinking the business without having to pay out redundancies before it gets liquidated. - Team morale and motivation is literally non-existent. - Company products are half-baked with little to no development or investment to improve them. Support are expected to find workarounds for everything. - Free lunch on Tuesday used to be great, now its disgusting and of poor quality. - Upper Management using profanities and behaving unprofessionally. - Ridiculous working hours with massive amounts of unproductive downtime pretending to look like you're busy or else you'll be scolded by management. - Shady private employee pension scheme. - Inconsistent and unclear company policies and procedures that constantly change without providing any notification. - Unreliable HR department that only works Monday - Wednesday - Chill out break area is exposed to a main road leading into the city centre, and with the building name SchoolPod people often mistake the company as a special needs facility. You'll feel like a zoo exhibit with the public staring at you while you eat your lunch. - Unsafe electrical standards, computers are hooked up to cheap extension adaptors with no surge or water protection. - Office air conditioning looks to be state of the art but it doesn't work properly. Either its too hot or too cold, its never kept at a comfortable temperature. Employees walk around the office with heavy jackets freezing or sweating. - Cheap supplied Computer equipment. Re-used greasy keyboards, headsets and phones. Uncomfortable mouse with no mousemat, low resolution monitors and slow PC's. - Onsite vending machines that are clearly second hand, they look like they've been stolen from a scrapyard. Items sold have ridiculous markup for company profit. - Drinking fountains are rarely cleaned and filled with limescale, unfit for consumption. - Absolutely shambolic toilet facilities for such a 'modern building'. - No on-site security.
