EYRC has the foundations of a great place to work - highly intelligent and talented staff, a generally fun culture, and an attempt at real thoughtfulness around how employee needs are addressed. The leadership team is generally flexible with benefits, and these extend beyond the typical medical insurance packages other firms offer. The partners, at times, seem to genuinely care about the well-being of their staff.

Unfortunately the extremely top-heavy leadership structure creates convoluted messaging in terms of where their priorities are. Favoritism is very clearly on full display but never really addressed. Staff are directed to advocate for themselves, but seldom does it lead anywhere - unless they are in the favor of the partners. Project teams can sometimes be tense as inter-personal conflicts are never addressed. The admin/support staff always seem to be overwhelmed and stressed (support staff clearly seem to struggle keeping up with the demands of all 6 partners). Mass layoffs and firm-wide salary reductions crippled the culture and team dynamics. Hoping for the best for EYRC, and for a strong recovery in the years to come.
