Vantaggi

WFH Good benefits Some great people work here who genuinely care

Svantaggi

Leadership across the organisation is weak and largely absent. When the current CEO joined, there was an initial sense of optimism, but that quickly faded. Within the 2nd week, his visibility completely dropped and it became clear it wasn't getting any better. There’s little communication and you rarely see or hear from the people who are supposed to be leading the business. There is little effort to engage with teams, or build trust beyond 'inner circles'. Operationally the organisation lacks structure. Processes and systems are messy and inconsistent, making it inefficient and decisions take a long time to be made. The business is continuing to decline, with clients being lost regularly. There’s a constant conveyor belt of senior leadership coming in, bringing their own people, ‘rebuilding’ it and then the whole thing just repeats. It’s completely cyclical. A disappointing and uninspiring company to work for. I’d strongly advise anyone considering joining to carefully think twice.

Vantaggi

Fast-paced environment with exposure to a wide range of technologies, customers, and real operational pressure. If you want to experience what it feels like to work in constantly moving and sometimes chaotic environments, Ekco will definitely sharpen your technical skills, resilience, and ability to adapt quickly. For the right person, the experience can accelerate both personal and professional growth significantly. For the right person, the chaos can become a powerful growth accelerator.

Svantaggi

The pace and constant context-switching can become exhausting over time. A lot depends on the customer account, leadership around you, and your own mindset entering the environment. Some engineers thrive in the chaos because they consciously choose that lifestyle, while others slowly burn out under sustained operational pressure. At times, it felt like the business struggled to recognise when key engineers were operationally misaligned rather than simply disengaged. The two are not always the same. Some people still care deeply about the work and the people around them, but prolonged reactive pressure, constant firefighting, and lack of alignment can slowly wear them down over time.
