Good culture, sales org can get better.

The hunter account executive team is not built well. The team overall is systematically held back and no rep has achieved more than 40% quota and we are halfway through Q4. Other teams are performing much better but the quotas for other teamswill likely be adjusted for this.

Great technology, good pay + benefits, fully remote work

Channel leadership has no connections or experience in the space and has essentially been rolled into ‘enablement’ , they have zero clue how to properly scale a channel business yet admit that’s what is needed to scale. The GTM strategy is also a mess, they say the focus this new is to solely focus on one of our three offerings, yet no plan how to scale that one offering ‘security’ only doing so because that’s where the comp is crushing us. The market is very saturated and Elastic is falling behind the competition. All of the sellers don’t trust or like the sales leadership as well and has been TONS of turnover and company wide RIF (7% of workforce) announced today. The CRO is strong but he seems checked out and waiting for the equity to cash so he can get out. CEO is also in way over his head.
