This is a highly paranoid, dysfunctional small business. From day one I should have read the writing on the wall. In the beginning they made me sign an employee manual and non compete which was to be expected but there was no response to my request for a copy of the executed copy after asking a dozen times. In terms of pay there was a verbal commitment to what I was to be paid but there was no follow up from anyone as to the specifics for my position. Didn’t even receive an offer letter. This is highly unprofessional. Months after being hired I am still waiting on what the commission structure is. All issues stem from the leadership. Business is managed from another country. People in the company have absolutely no experience in growing a business and or the position they are tasked with. Healthcare benefits are subpar. There is no proper training whatsoever. It’s more of a figure it out on your own situation and hope you don’t get yelled at if you’ve done something incorrect. There is no HR department. There is a huge lack of communication which creates double work and many inefficiencies. Systems are outdated and they keep telling us to tell customers a new update is supposed to happen but it never has transpired. If you have expenses don’t expect to be paid the following month. Maybe 3-4 months down the line. It’s makes you wonder if the company is even financially stable. I thank God that I’m fortunate enough no to have to rely on this company financially. If I did it would be hell. Sexual Harassment is a big issue so if your a female please beware. The IT department has a couple of thirsty individuals. Marketing is horrendous. The individuals they have been working with are friends of the corporate attorney. These individuals mean well but are just moonlighting to make some extra money on the side. This place is not a thriving company. It is a jumbled up mess with no real prospects of growth. They just trying to stay afloat.
