upper management/the upstairs all have this weird politics and cliques. They look down at the production level workers and treat us like crap. They all make like 80-90k minimum while the workers barely get any raises and get paid about 20$/hr. It's long 12 hour shifts and barely any time off while the upstairs people get to mosey on in whenever they want and leave whenever they want because they're salary, oh and they get holidays off but production does not. There's absolutely no room to move up here, unless you wanna be a lead but thats it. They say you need a degree to be upstairs as an engineer or have a good job but don't offer any tuition reimbursement and the people with degrees who were great candidates for promotions were denied and it was given to an outside hire. The company makes a lot of money but doesn't wanna spend it on the actual workers who make it. Instead they laid most of us off because the place became toxic as we all were fed up with being treated so poorly. Oh, the upstairs people also got a yearly bonus of about 10-20,000$ while we only saw about $300. Insane. Avoid this place, management is horrible, so much favoritism. When they laid everyone off for the "new direction", the only people they kept were the suck ups who reported on people and who were the "spies" for management. And they were people who slept on the job and took super long breaks all the time and did nothing lol. Good luck E6 with keeping those people and letting the hard workers go simply because we had a voice for our rights as workers.
