Rewarding Work, Problematic Leadership - Recensione dipendente - Youth Counselor presso Elevations RTC

Unfortunately it is NOT for everyone and that creates a revolving door of staff. I witnessed 20+ individuals come and go in one year. This was to fill only several positions. It is the type of work environment where the staff must be cohesive and have each others' backs. It was impossible achieve this atmosphere with the constant turnover of unskilled and inexperienced employees. We had zero support from program directors and leadership. They in fact encouraged negative and unprofessional behaviours by some staff. This was not a conducive or safe environment for the residents which is the primary reason I left. Too much risk for myself and the kiddos.
