The company was excellently structured, with clear assignments and templates, and lots of resources. Great team with lots of layers of people to help and get you going. The pay was decent and they were always on time. Also seemed like there was lots of opportunity to grow if you had the time and interest in their different clients.

The voice for the client I was assigned never quite clicked with me and life happened and I wasn't able to dedicate the time to learn it. But if you got good at it, or were already good at writing in their style, there was a lot of potential and I could see how it could be a really ideal freelance job.

I've worked for Eleven for 6+ years and had an excellent experience. Several people on the leadership team and some of the project managers are former freelance writers, so they get what freelancers care about. The managers at Eleven are also really great about introducing incentives like word count bonuses, rush bonuses, and rate increases over time. Overall this is one of the best companies I've freelanced for and would highly recommend them.

As with any freelance gig, work can slow down sometimes and it isn't always clear when that will happen. As the team has grown, it's gotten a little harder to keep track of people, but the leadership team has also been trying to address that with monthly workshops and social Slack channels.
