I wish they would have been honest in the interview. I was told it was a marketing position and that it was hourly. Turns out we do door to door sales. We get customer names and addresses sent to our phones. We then drive in groups to certain neighborhoods to cold knock on these people's homes. Just about evrryone gets upset at us since we show up unannounced. It's almost impossible to get a sale. Most people don't like us because we are taught to press the customer for a sale until they slam the door in our face. It's 100% commission. If you don't sell anything then you just worked 12-14 hours in one day and made $0.
