Salary ok but could use improvement, work duties are average, Benefits are equal to most large companies.

* There is very little equipment support, and what they do have is very unsafe. * You are looked down at by DELTA AIRLINES, and ELS employees have been told by the DELTA manager that resides in ELS maintenance repair shop; " ELS employees are the scum that lies under the Whales poo". * Work week schedule is poor, so plan on having midweek days off. * The Millwrights union does not support you, plus you have not voting rights. * Management will go out of there way to right up employees so they can fire them. * Their basis for whom gets promoted is by favoritism, I've seen several employees move from being an very un-experienced cart shop worker $10 hr., move straight up to the top position of a Jet Bridge Tech $24 hr. These employees magically passed a very intense mechanical and electrical (plc. troubleshooting) assessment test, and these employees only have high school educations. * DELTA AIRLINES and every employee loves to brag how they will be receiving large BONUSES ($8K-$12K) each year, Thanks again Millwrights Union for a great contract, "NOT" * Parts department is a "Laughing Joke" of the whole company (controlled by Delta Airlines Manager in ELS building), so don't think your going to do repairs in a timely manner.

As a third-party (3P) maintenance provider for Amazon, having two separate reporting relationships was particularly bad. Naturally, Amazon abused the 3P sometimes just because they could. Pay and promotions were limited. Many people would leave ELS and go work for Amazon out of state.
