Everything is very collaborative. Age and hierarchy do not mean too much here. I loved my role and even though I was lower than most, I didn't feel that way. People trusted me and my opinions.

You definitely need to get used to the culture of the university. It is mainly wealthy students from the Northeast with very minimal diversity. Takes some getting used to.
