Vantaggi
Coworkers are generally decent people, but the high turnover makes this a weak positive since they don't stick around long
If you want to coast and do nothing, this is the place for you - underperformers aren't held accountable
Svantaggi
The company is fully controlled by the French headquarters, which micromanages every aspect of the US operations. Zero autonomy, zero trust, and a suffocating work environment.
Promises mean nothing here: salary adjustments, actual job responsibilities - nothing matches what you're told during hiring. No raises or bonuses for anyone last year either.
The turnover speaks for itself - people in the office don't last more than a year. They either get fired, quit, or aren't renewed. I've seen multiple people leaving.
Career growth doesn't exist. They talk about it, but nobody gets promoted or given new opportunities.
Zero planning or proactive management. Everything is reactive - we're constantly firefighting problems after they happen instead of preventing them. Extremely frustrating way to operate.
The worst part: decisions are made in France, fail because they don't understand the US market, then blame gets shifted to the US team. Classic toxic management structure.
Communication is a joke - rumors and decisions circulate in France weeks before the US team knows anything. I've witnessed colleagues learning about major decisions affecting them only after everyone in the head office had known for weeks.
Job responsibilities were completely different from what was discussed during hiring
