Vantaggi

Working with certain faculty is great. Speak with those who've been there for a while and see what they say. Vague comments and responses should be a red flag. Plenty of opportunities to learn.

Svantaggi

Dose not matter how hard you work, because HR sets the salary even though you might be paid from soft money. HR may never seen you or how you work, but they decide what your worth is regardless of what supervisors might say. HR always has an excuse to why you did not qualify for a job promotion or raise. Favorite excuse is 'others at Emory are paid the same amount for the same job' - supposedly. Management believes tales are factual and they spin stories so well that people actually believe what they say, but if one actually thinks about what they said it would be unbelievable. So may unfairness and injustice is swept under the rug, If Emory wasn't as big as they were, they wouldn't be able to hide it all.
